What does it mean to be Made Whole

Posted on January 3, 2018 at 12:45 AM

What do you think of when someone says wholeness?  Many of us shift our focus to matters  of health, sickness, injury or death.  Wholeness, however is so much more than that. Wholeness correlates to us body, soul and spirit.  It is living in such a way that all facets and aspects of our lives are interrelated in a health-giving, sound and resilient way.

God wants us to be whole!  Even in our breaking he restores us to a whole state.  The Book of 1st Thessalonians, chapter 5 verse 3, shows the Apostle Paul prayed "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Gods has purposed for us to be Whole, never fragmented or diminished! John 1:12 But to all who did recieve him, believed on his name, he gave them the right to become children of God. Isaiah 61:1-3 The spirit of the Soveregin Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release darkness from prisoners. 2. To proclaim the year of the LORD's Favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who greive in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for display of his splendor.

Did you know that God wants to show you off!  Jesus came to do a work in you and then put you on display for all the world to see.  You are america's next top model!

  • The broken hearted
  • The captives
  • Those in dark places
  • Prisioner of sin and alike
  • Mourning and grieving
  • Poor
  • Blind
  • Oppressed

You may find yourself in one of these places, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally and or Spriutally, but Christ says that he has come to change that.  The scripture says He will take our unrighteousness and make us solid oaks of righteousness and we would be a planting of the Lord and display His splendor.  It is the anointing that destorys the yolks and he is the Anointed One and He can change you, heal you and deliver you.  He is able to transform you and take your heavy heart and fill it will joy.

Jesus is willing and ready to make us whole!  If you want to be whole cry out to Him, "Lord, make me whole!"
